PASCALE NIELSEN (ACTRESS `When Amazons WakeŽ)
Nationality: French

Pascale was born to a Norwegian mother and a French father. She studied acting at the Conservatoire in Toulouse.

After her first professional experience, playing Agnes in the ?School of Wives?, she decided to continue training and moved to Los Angeles and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. After two years in California, she moved back to Paris.

She then started working as an actress on TV, film, and theatre. Because of her bi- nationality, and her knowledge of languages she often had the chance to work abroad, with various directors from Japan, China, South- Africa, and Italy.

After several years in Paris, Pascale decided to go back to her roots and moved to Oslo, Norway.
Starting all over again, was for her a very interesting journey and opened new perspectives in her acting career. She was offered work both on TV, film and stage, and started showing interest for directing. On TV she worked in Norway?s most famous serie, and on stage worked in Bergen, Oslo, Kristansand, playing Anne Frank, Gwendolen in ?The importance of being earnest?,etc? She had the opportunity to direct a play in Trondheim, an adaptation of Professor Unrat by Heinrich Mann. During her years in Norway, she continued her training/research work, and worked with Jurij Alshitz a Russian director. Pascale has been living in London since 2004 , and has started working on her directing ideas.
